Yachts with character
Menken Maritiem often hears from their customers that their boats are on the receiving end of compliments as they pass by. The boats have that “thumbs-up” effect because Menken has a slightly different view on boatbuilding. With them naval architect Martin de Jager is leading in design, construction and ergonomics. Builder Neil Fernando & Co. doesn’t cut corners in the building process. The results of this fine balancing act are boats that stands out. Every day they prove any other choice would have been second best.

A solid tradition in yachtbuilding
P. Valk Yachts is one of the few remaining Dutch builders that still creates steel or aluminium motoryachts entirely on its own premises. The yard’s craftsmen still transform timber into tailor-made carpentry and its painters put the finishing touches on every yacht. P. Valk Yachts has stood for true Dutch craftsmanship in yachtbuilding since 1928. But the yard’s tradition in innovation reaches just as far back: examples of successfully introduced products include the innovative Valk Alu Sportief 45-48 and the Merlin line, which included the Merlin 1200 and the Nemo.
Builder of Succes, Marco, Holiday and Nectus Yachts
Ask Dutch sailors about Succes and Marco yachts and they will respond with a smile. Yachts from 12 to 14.5 metres in length and in three different models – the Open Cockpit, Aftcabin and Flybridge – are currently built in the modern production facilities.

The world's first electric retractable Magnus effect stabilizer
RotorSwing Marine BV is the creator of the retractable Magnus effect stabilizer. According to CEO Theo Koop, 140 units have now been successfully installed in more than 70 vessels.
The Magnus effect is the perfect roll damping system for displacement vessels sailing at speeds from 3 to 12 knots. At higher speeds, however, the system has a resistance penalty which is reflected in higher fuel consumption. To minimise this, RotorSwing Marine invented the so-called RAKE principle. In this system, the rotors fold backwards so the segment encountering water resistance is an elliptical rather than cylindrical cross-section. This naturally results in less
resistance. The patent on this unique invention is currently pending.
The inventors of the electrical Magnus RotorSwing will launch a new RS-WING stabilizer in time for the 2017 season. This consists of fins in the shape of aeroplane wings, with extremely low resistance as a result. This patented system can also be used for zero speed roll damping at anchor.
The RS-WING units are currently being installed on our fast 26-knot demonstration vessel. This is an excellent vessel for a roll damping system based on this new technology. RotorSwing Marine expects to demonstrate the system by the end of 2016. Production will start before the 2017 sailing season.

In addition to its personal and proactive touch, the company has an international and modern approach. Deploying smart technology such as a dedicated app, the yacht brokerage allows interested boat buyers in the Netherlands and abroad to continuously stay abreast of interesting developments.
For all your yacht transport requirements
Most shipping companies that transport yachts only carry them as secondary cargo. The main cargo – which could be something as basic as potatoes – is then placed in the hold while the yachts are loaded on deck as an extra. This policy often leads to delays, and loading/offloading can take place in dirty industrial harbours such as Southampton or Genoa. Starclass Yacht Transport is one of very few European companies to move yachts as its main cargo.
Custom made motoryachts in steel and aluminium
Since the founding of the shipyard, Steeler Yachts has been renowned for its innovative ideas and creations. Steeler Yachts started with the ‘Next Generation’ models and the introduction of the Steeler Panorama Flatfloor, winner of ‘European Powerboat of the Year 2015’.

The “Volharding Staveren” shipyard was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century by Auke van der Werff. In this small Frisian village with the official status of city, he started building and repairing fishing boats and cargo ships.
