During the 2016 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Psea Yachts introduced its new very fast tender: the elegant and robust Psea 40. This all-Dutch-built 40-footer feels equally at home in its region of origin as in the Mediterranean, and is characterised by a Vripack design that features classic lines with a modern twist.
The Psea 40 stands out for its excellent performance at all speeds and virtually any weather condition. The fast-moving bay hopper takes its passengers from one fine bay to the next in superior comfort, and is fully equipped for spending many hours on board, including a swimming platform just centimetres above the water which creates a private beach.
Ultimate speed experience
With a standard propulsion setup of two Volvo engines of 370 hp each, the Psea 40 has a maximum speed of 38 knots, while an optional set of 2 x 430 hp increases it to 40 knots. The yacht is also very stable at slow speeds while a Volvo IPS engine system allows the skipper to easily and accurately manoeuvre the tender even in narrow channels and marinas.
Exceeding the standard
The Psea Yacht is not a mass product, and can be adapted to meet owner wishes. It can be delivered in smaller or larger sizes, and the colour of the hull and deck and the interior layout can also be decided by the client. Psea Yachts offers everyone a unique mini-superyacht that meets all their demands.
