Shipyard B. de Groot has been building Pikmeerkruisers in Grou on Pikmeer Lake in the Dutch province of Friesland since the early 1960s. As was the case back then, the yachts are still built entirely under one roof. The yard focuses on satisfying customer demands, keeping the lines of communication short. Yachts from 12 to 14.5 metres in length and in three different models – the Open Cockpit, Aftcabin and Flybridge – are currently built in the modern production facilities.
Pikmeerkruiser 44 OC Premier
The Pikmeerkruiser 40 OC Premier is the latest addition to the OC range. A variation on the 40 OC is the 40 OCS. This edition has a transom door and two integrated stairs on the aft deck which make it very easy to get in and out of the cockpit, irrespective of whether the yacht is moored at a high or low jetty. The Pikmeerkruiser OC is available in 40, 44 and 48 feet, or 38 and 50 feet on request.
Pikmeerkruiser 48 OC Premier
The flagship of the Open Cockpit range is the new Pikmeerkruiser 48 OC Premier. The 48 OC Premier features two or three fixed cabins which accommodate at least six guests, a spacious interior with ample storage space, a cosy dinette, and a spacious cockpit with plenty of space to sit and relax. This solid yacht with lovely lines really has it all.
The 48 OC is available in two 14.25-metre models, one with an oblique, round stern and one with a door in the stern and two integrated stairs in the aft deck. The nicely rounded saloon roof with a spacious overhang above the cockpit and front windows give the yacht a solid and stylish appearance. The interior can be designed according to the owner’s preferences, and the exterior has an exceptionally beautiful finish with nice curves and a well thought-out deck layout.
Pikmeerkruiser 48 AC
Another top model is the all-new Pikmeerkruiser 48 AC. As usual, the interior can be customised according to owners’ wishes and the exterior has an incredibly beautiful finish with nice round curves and a well thought-out deck layout. This yacht invites a carefree lifestyle and does not require a navigation licence to enjoy European inland and coastal waters or make a passage to the UK or Sweden (CE Category B).
