The Werner Yacht Design studio has been dedicated to exclusive motoryacht design for the past 20 years. The firm is renowned for its uncompromising focus on combining beauty and performance, all based on a strong conviction that yachts should both look and handle like a dream. At the same time, the studio aims to design yachts not just for, but together with, clients. Werner Yacht Design encourages owners to become involved as much as possible, creating yachts that fit their needs perfectly.
Werner currently has four yachts under construction ranging from 19 to 30 metres. The 30-metre motoryacht is slated for delivery at the end of 2017, while the other three are scheduled to be delivered in 2018 and 2019, respectively. In the meantime, Werner has also been working on an exciting new 32-metre motoryacht design called Bellezza, Italian for beauty.
The idea behind Bellezza is simple: offer owners and their guests the superyacht experience to which they are accustomed, but within a striking low-profile design. While searching for the perfect profile and the ideal layout, Werner’s designers continuously kept in mind the characteristics that would appeal to owners of large sailing yachts. “We wanted to create a model that would be particularly attractive to sailors who are looking for a different experience,” says founder and owner Theo Werner. “For instance, Belezza will allow them to travel to numerous shallow destinations that they couldn’t reach with their existing yachts. Moreover, we have made sure that Bellezza will stand out not because of size, but through sheer elegance.”
